Cinque is the best expression of the Vino Bianco Dell'Emilia IGT, an authentically Italian wine. Versatile and refreshing, Cinque is your best fit when you go for a moment of self indulgence.

In the development process, our Italian winemakers carried out extensive tasting sessions, searching for intense freshness - which is now the soul of the product. Cinque is the result of a delicate assemblage of noble European wine grapes - such as Malvasia and Trebbiano, with a hint of Lambrusco lavorato in bianco – grown only in the beautiful region between Parma and Bologna.

Cinque is to be enjoyed fresh and young, to highlight its fruity and refreshing citrus notes. It presents a delicate perlage, which is the fingerprint of the Frizzanti. The light sweetness – which is a typical result of the winemaking process – is balanced by a touch of acidity, to enhance the freshness. Cinque is naturally a low-alcohol wine, so you can enjoy it with passion and freedom - but always, sure, with responsibility.

Cinque is ideal for a celebration. Or for a moment of relax. Or for a party with best friends. Or on a weekend away with them. In short: it is versatile to go with you anywhere - home, beach, park, pool, mountain. It pairs well with light dishes such as salads, grilled meats and seafood. Cinque is also great with homemade pasta or with the chef's (you!) pizza. Enjoy it ice cold: when the thermometer goes blue, it's time to enjoy!

Cinque is an Italian wine classified as IGT – which stands for Indicazione Geografica Tipica. This tag indicates the winemaking process follows European rules, which set the production region and terroirs, grape qualities and strict production controls. These rules are there to ensure the high quality production standards will be constantly achieved.

Emilia-Romagna is a stunning region in north-central Italy, with a
long history of classic wines. Besides being home of Cinque, great
Italian icons recognized throughout the globe were born here. In
gastronomy, the famous Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano
cheeses, the Prosciutto Parma, the Cappelletti, and the Aceto
Balsamico di Modena are part of this legacy. In industry (art?), the
desired Scuderia Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ducati are
headquartered in here. In arts, the region is home of the great
Federico Fellini and Giuseppe Verdi. Regarding culture and science,
this is where the occidental world saw the first university: l'Università
di Bologna.

Cinque was born in this vibrant place. It gathered the cultural and gastronomic tradition of Emilia-Romagna, the heritage of five wine producing families - whose historical mentions date back to 1905 - and mixed them into an innovative wine concept. Cinque is the expression of the modern Italian soul.

By the strict European law of wine quality, Cinque can only be produced from grapes grown in the region comprising the provinces of Ferrara, Modena, Parma, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia and the left bank of Sillaro river, in Bologna. To learn more about this, click on the IGT label on this page.

The aluminum can is the fastest growing wine package in the world. There are many reasons for it. Just like Cinque, this new format is practical, modern and suitable for any occasion – and it protects the good wine better than a glass bottle, as air and light are fully kept away.

The can chills faster than a bottle: a thermometer printed on the side
turns blue when the wine reaches the right temperature. The can is also
easy to carry around: it is much more resistant and practical than a
glass bottle. And it is easy to handle: just open and drink, no
accessories needed (if you want to make it even more stylish, use a
fun straw!). And it is just right for you: the can enough wine for
two champagne glasses (flûte).

Manufactured in the German factory of Recklinghausen, Cinque cans
offer several technical innovations. Internally, it has a double layer of
special varnish, developed to protect the content from interactions with aluminum. Outside, it presents a delicate "soft touch" ink, which gives the package a unique touch. And its slim 200ml format was specially design for the world of wine.

A can of Cinque reflects also a special concern with sustainability. Recycling of aluminum is much faster and easier than the recycling of glass, and can be done infinitely without loss of quality. In addition, the transport of wine in cans reduces CO2 emission by 50%, compared to the transportation of wine in equivalent glass bottles – as cans are much more compact and lighter. That makes Cinque an environmental-friendly product.
